Here is a photo from the 80's heavy metal band Motley Crue. The Photo on the left is the original copy, and the one on the right is the version that I altered in Pixlr. I used various different airbrushing tools to get a different effect, a darker grittier tone. Better fitting with their heavy metal genre. I dimmed the overall brightness to make it darker and used an air brush tool to darken their eyes and their lips. I believe it has been very effective on changing the syle of the photo but I'd like to try out various other photo editing software, for example the most popular Photoshop. Which, to generalize it, is a-lot more complicated to use, but in the long run it would be worth it for there is a-lot more you can do to change a photo.
